Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Your GST data is sensitive. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

1. Who We Are

TaxTurbo is a GST reconciliation product of Turbosoft Technologies, 11/550, Near Railway Line, Krishnapuri, Madanganj, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Rajasthan 305801, India. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit www.taxturbo.in, use the web application at app.taxturbo.in, or contact us. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 in mind.

2. What We Collect

Account details: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and GSTIN where you provide it.

Files you upload: your purchase register and GSTR-2A or GSTR-2B data. These usually contain supplier names, GSTINs, invoice numbers, dates and tax amounts.

Payment details: plan, billing cycle, amount, GSTIN for invoicing, and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are collected and processed by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.

Usage data: log-in times, reconciliations run, invoice counts against your plan limit, IP address, browser and device type, and error logs. We use these to run the Service, enforce plan limits and keep it secure.

Messages: what you send us through the contact form, email, phone, WhatsApp or the chat assistant on our website.

Website analytics: pages visited, referring site and approximate location, collected through analytics cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • create and manage your account and provide the Service;
  • process your uploaded files and generate your reconciliation reports;
  • process payments, issue GST invoices and track usage against your plan;
  • respond to support requests and send you service messages, such as payment receipts and changes to these policies;
  • keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse; and
  • understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your data. We do not use the contents of your uploaded files for advertising, and we do not use them to train AI models.

We may send you product updates by email. You can unsubscribe from these at any time; service messages will still be sent.

4. How Long We Keep Uploaded Files

Uploaded files and generated reports exist only to produce your reconciliation. They are deleted from our servers automatically within 24 hours of processing, and usually much sooner. Please download your report when it is ready.

We keep a record that a reconciliation took place (date, user, and the number of invoices processed) so we can bill accurately against your plan. This record does not include the contents of your files.

5. How Long We Keep Other Data

  • Account details: while your account is active, and for up to 90 days after you close it.
  • Payment and invoice records: for 8 years, as required by Indian GST and income tax law.
  • Usage and security logs: up to 12 months.
  • Contact form and support messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.

6. Who We Share Data With

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as much as they need:

  • cloud hosting and software providers that run our website and application, including its chat assistant;
  • our authentication and database provider, for accounts and sign-in;
  • our payment processor, to take payments;
  • email and messaging providers, to send service emails and reply to you; and
  • website analytics providers (Google Analytics).

These providers may process data outside India. Where they do, we choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose data if required by law, a court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls that keep each customer's data separate, restricted staff access, and automatic deletion of uploaded files. No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

8. Cookies

The web application uses essential cookies to keep you signed in. Our marketing website uses analytics cookies to understand traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in.

9. Your Rights

You can ask us to:

  • confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a summary of it;
  • correct or update inaccurate data;
  • delete your data, subject to records we must keep by law; and
  • withdraw consent for optional processing, such as marketing emails.

You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity. Write to contact@taxturbo.in and we will respond within 30 days.
